When we had teenagers over for party night, these were always nice
and easy to make ahead, then pop in the oven and heated up.

FILLED HOT DOG BUNS

12 hot dog buns, with centers cut out
and bread saved for filling
1/4 butter melted
12 all beef hot dog, mashed up
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1 tbsp of pickle relish
1 tbsp of finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp of salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
5 tbsp manyonnaise
bread crumbs from hot dog buns
1 cup of diced american cheese

Take the buns hollow out center and save.
Brush the insides of buns with butter. Mix all
the 9 ingredients and place mixture inside the
buns. Wrap each bun sandwich in foil and seal tightly.
30 minutes before serving, place foiled wrapped buns in
hot oven 350 degree, and bake for 30 minutes.
Makes 12 hot bun sandwiches.
